The ReUse Centre is a registered Charity and both a Social Enterprise and a Social Firm. Based close to the centre of Bedford, we support people and communities throughout the county of Bedfordshire.

As a Charity and a Social Enterprise, we support people in need or hardship by supplying low-price re-usable goods and materials.

But we have no central funding so we have to rely on sales income and contributions from our members and customers for the products and services we provide.

Our main focus is the supply of both new and re-usable furniture, from chairs, tables and lounge suites to beds, wardrobes and other bedroom furniture.

We also supply second-hand electrical goods, such as fridges, fridge/freezers, cookers, washing machines, televisions and other domestic appliances. All the electrical goods we supply are tested to make sure they are guaranteed safe to use.

And we also offer toys and games, books, DVDs and videos.

It's not just members that can benefit either, anyone can purchase our bargain priced goods or use our services such as house clearance or eco-friendly recycling and disposal service.

But we do much more than promote the 3 R's (reduce, re-use and recycle). We are a Social Firm too, bringing benefits to the community by helping people gain real skills and get back into work through a well-established and recognised volunteering scheme, providing our volunteers with training in a range of skills.

New shop now open

Why not come and visit us at our new shop on High Street where you can buy or donate new, nearly new and second-hand furniture, household goods and electrical appliances. The new shop is open to everyone so come in and see us soon.
